About Mark Chapman
Mark Chapman has spent over 25 years in the international marine industry with detailed knowledge and experience in luxury yacht brand management, sales and marketing, managing sales teams, strategic planning, international brokerage, market research, as well as import and distribution of world renowned boat brands.
More recently, Mark has secured the dealership for Searay and Beneteau Powerboats for Sydney and greater area, operating out of new premises at the Sydney Boathouse Dry Storage and Marina Development on Sydney Harbour.
As a qualified and experienced marine engineer, New Zealand born Mark Chapman has attained a number of high profile positions, notably MD of namesake Chapman Marine Group, Dealer Principal for Sydney Princess Yachts from 2000 to 2006, Sales and Marketing Director for the importers of Fairline Boats UK in Australia from 2009 – 2011 and Executive Broker for Princess Yachts Australia.
Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop and enhance the brand presence and identity of leading motor yachts into the Australian market, including Princess, Fairline, Chris-Craft, Riva, Regal and Wellcraft. His proven track record in product development, marketing communications and ongoing passion for delivering the highest standards of service in the industry has earned him numerous awards, including Display Excellence Awards at the Sydney International Boat Show, Number One International Dealer for Chriscraft USA, the Admiral’s Club Award, the International Sales Award for Regal Boats USA over three consecutive years, and Platinum Award for top International Dealer for Fairline Boats UK.
